HSS227   Tradition, Transition and Modernity   (20 credits)

Description

This course is designed to develop the student's ability to read with understanding authentic Spanish and Latin American texts. By the end of the course students will have had experience of reading and analysing a variety of texts and will have improved their ability to understand texts in Spanish at the level of individual words and in their overall meanings. They will also be able to demonstrate an appreciation of cultural products in different styles and genres.
